During an annual purging a couple years ago, I came across an article that I saved from a previous purging of dead tree publications. It was written by Karrie Jacobs for the October 1993 issue of Metropolis Magazine.
The magazine has run several articles over the years about technology that were unusually insightful, but Little Peach Big Apple is my favorite. It captured something that was almost impossible to put into words at the time. Here is a 1MB PDF file of that article.
